When Bad Luck Just Won’t Stop 😭
It’s hard to count how many shots this has been. Phil Mickelson’s second shot, a draw that bounces and rolls straight into the water. But that was only the beginning of his troubles. After taking a penalty, his fourth shot stops short and rolls right back into the rough below the green. He keeps swinging to escape, but his seventh shot hits the rock wall and bounces backward into the hazard again. The camera shows his ball resting on a stone surface. No way to make a proper swing. After yet another penalty, Mickelson finally manages to roll the ball past the green. On this hole, he records the second highest score of his entire professional career.
