Jeff Ogulvie draws inspiration from Rory Mroy to end President’s Cup losing streak. International team captain Jeff Ogulvie is using Rory Mroy and team Europe’s recent Ryder Cup triumph as motivation to break the President’s Cup curse in 2026 at Medina. With only one win since the tournament’s inception in 1994, Ogulvie says Europe’s unity and preparation are key lessons for his side. Inspired by Mroyy’s passion and work ethic, including a viral 5 a.m. workout video, Ogulvie wants his players to match that level of commitment. He’s also been in touch with European captain Luke Donald to learn from Europe’s winning culture. The US currently dominates the series the 1st of January 14, but Ogulvie believes the internationals finally have the right ingredients to challenge for their first victory on American soil.
