so here it is this is the shoe that I will be wearing this year to hunt in it’s waterproof lightweight and if your Feet’s going to freeze they might as well freeze I’m just kidding I am not wearing a flip flop to hunting this year but I will be wearing the Irish Setter by Redwing The Vapor Trek hunting boot These Boots Are lightweight comfortable waterproof I love these boots as soon as I got them day I got them I went and walked a mile in them very comfortable I actually have owned this boot in the past and I have put a ton of miles walking public land and mountains in these things they’ve worn very well got a little bit of a split there and that’s starting to come off but I have no complaints about this boot so it is no ation but what I do to keep my feet warm is I will take an Old Sock old pair of hunting socks like this and I will cut that sock right there to make this little boot cover right here once I get to where I’m going I will take that boot cover and I will slide it over top of the outside of the boot and believe it or not just that little bit of insulation right there on the outside of the boot separating from the ground or the tree stand whatever may be just that right there helps tremendously but another thing I will do is I will take these Arctic Shield boot covers and I will just slip my feet right inside of there just zip up the very back right here and that’s what I use to keep my feet warm in cold weather conditions in a lightweight boot in the winter time another thing that I will do is I will once I get home I will take my boot after wearing it and I will put it on a boot dryer to get all the moisture turn that knob and just let that thing run it’ll ventilate and there’s a heat heat or no heat setting on this I usually do the no heat just let the air ventilate drying out that boot so that there is no moisture in that boot cuz that moisture is what is causing your feet to get cold when you’re hunting in cold weather with a lightweight boot like that so I highly recommend these boots I love them and I will definitely be using them a whole lot this year so hopefully those tips helped you out and uh y’all have a great day
