So it makes things a little bit harder to kind of you know gauge on where and especially when you’re in inside tree line like we are right now kind of don’t know where things are. So I mean great drive there batty feel like you can’t go long. [Music] So I picked the longer club. I’m going to I’m going to flight one up there. I think that’s beautiful. It looks as I mean that looks like what you should have done. Yeah, we’ll see. I I mean there is a pot front. I would assume it’s either just in it or just short of it. Downwind 244. I’m going to hit a five iron here. Holy. And it should be a little bit short, but if I flush it, it might roll up. But I think there’s a bunker guarding the green. I think you’re either going to be fairway or rough. I’m okay with just finding it right now. Hopefully try and chip it on the green. Give myself a chance for a birdie. Oh, that pen. I have no idea. That gave you a bit of life to, you know, to Oh, if I I could hold it, you could you could either hold it or you can hit a good shot, which you did. Yeah. Then automatically I’m like, okay, I got to focus again. You know what I mean? Yeah. It’s like a momentum thing. Oh, dude. 100%. Jay was expected to win that hole from where I was and I was expecting to win it like mentally and I’m like, whoa, whoa, whoa. I got to get this up and down. and I was just explaining it and you’ve you hit a great shot out of the penalty area and a great shot onto the green to give yourself a par which ultimately you were going to hole anyways cuz it was only 2 and 1/2 ft. So one up after the 10th hole the par five good putt bunker shot could have been a little bit closer. Um that great great par save there uh forced me to have to hold my putt. So I’m going to hit a 3-wood down this uh 11th hole. I don’t know how far I can get my driver down there. And right now, because we’re coming in here pretty blind, um I’m just going to go with more safe than than sorry. Pretty good. A little bit, but it’s fine. Oh, yeah. Holy deep. All right, one down. I was asking I was asking God to be good to my ball there and it was which is good. Is that good, B? Yes. I don’t want him to get more confidence, you know, from actually holding the birdies. Cuz when you’re just giving it, you’re like, “Oh, was I going to make it or not?” I’m sure that’s what he’s thinking. Was I going to make that 1 and 1/2 footer uphill? All right. Not going to say it’s a must make, but I think I mean, yeah. What have we got? 12 ft. 12 ft right to left. Jay just made a great birdie. Uh, this is this is big. Big P. He’s hit a great shot out the rough. Left himself 12 ft downhill. He looks like he’s aiming a little bit too far right. Must make too far right. Just look like it the whole way. That’s okay. I mean, we we’ve got seven holes left. I mean, this is very fastpaced, action-packed uh kind of match play. Um two down after two. It’s not your typical 18 holes. We’re playing nine holes and you have to get off to a good start. Uh it is playing tough today too by the way. He’s he’s he’s hit three mint shots there and he’s walked away uh losing the hole. So um yeah, two up lead right now and you know kind of what Brucey did to me on in the last match. Um I’m kind of in the driver seat right now. I’m feeling pretty good right now. So keep it down 100%. That’s kind of what talent. Exactly right. You kind of got to keep pushing that. Good day, Bruce. Um if the wind was down, I’ you potentially could go at the green, but it isn’t today. So, I’m going to hit seven wood. As Bat walks by, I’m going to hit a sevenwood. So, as we’re heading down to our I think you’re going to be fine there. I hope so. So, I little background um on Bat is he where he’s from Australia. Obviously, you can hear it. We grew up together. Uh I’ve known Bat since 8. Yeah. 8 years old. 30 years. Yeah. And some reason, I don’t know what it is, must be something in the water in Ohio. He lives in Ohio about 40 minutes away from me. Brucey lives in Ohio who’s my caddy. I I’ve known him since I was a kid as well. and he lives 5 minutes away from me. We got a bunch of Aussies that uh that have kind of gravitated gravitated towards Ohio, which has been fant. We love Ohio. Absolutely. And um yeah, he’s a professional golfer. Um how many professional wins have you had? Uh only won twice. Yeah, a couple couple of professional wins, which is great cuz I mean obviously it’s hard to win and he’s won uh won a couple of professional events. He’s a good player. Um, and I’ve known him for for a long time now. So, uh, yeah, great looking green, narrow. Once again, if the wind is kind of down or helping, you can definitely get it up there, but you don’t want to go too far left obviously because you’re short side yourself. This is a stunning little hole. Typically, when you know, I can see a back pin location, which will make it even harder. And even that front location, but I’ve got um I don’t know how far I’ve got 107. So 106 probably just a little bit past 10:00. Um 56 or 6 uh 56 sandwich just because I I can feel a little bit of wind. Dang it. Just caught a little fly out of that line. Probably about 25 ft just beyond it. like get directly in line. All right, I have 90 yards side hill lie in the rough. Got uh got my 60°. I need to really commit here and give myself a pop for a birdie. Okay, good, good, good, good, good. Oh man, I came out left. Got lucky it got on the grass actually. I might be able to putt that. So that’s good. We’re back. Rough. We’re back. Well, a great little hole this 12th hole. They’ve got one membership, new membership. I was about to join through six holes in my match. I thought we were bringing it. Anyway, no, this is a great hole. Rick’s got a decent chance here. I think he’s on the better side of the hole than Jason. Jason’s a little long, but we’ll go up there and have a look at this. He definitely needed to be on this side of the hole. Just 15 ft too far. 10 feet up the hill would have been great um from that. Just caught a little bit of a flyer. 35 foot right to left up the hill down up the hill. That had so much snap on it. Holy. As soon as it took off, I’m like, that’s got no chance. I have a downhill left to right from about 25 ft. Um, this will be a great two putt really. I’ll be really happy getting this nice and close if it goes in. Amazing. Oh, you dog. Yeah, it’s grinding. Grinding. Thanks, bro. That was That was a well judged part there, bro. That That was really That’s a hard part. That was a a lot more break on that uh uh 35 footer there. So, got about 3 ft up here up the hill a little right to left. Not much in it hopefully. I I mean I’m just going to try and hit a bump 3wood down there and just get something running. Dog leg left. So, I need to dig in here and really It did break a lot. I got to make a bird. It did really good, dude. My first putt broke a lot. I was I didn’t re I did not see that much break. Um, we got two good uh shots away there. I think that’s pretty good. I think I think that’s where you’re supposed to go. Yeah. Um Oh, yeah. We’re right next to each other. Yeah, it’s perfect. I mean, you can probably pull driver for sure, but I mean, if you pull driver, you go straight through into this into these trees. You got no no shot. Yeah, full shot. I mean, this golf course is stunning. It’s great. It’s a fun golf course to play. You’re recording him. We’ve got 185 flag little into off the right. So, I was probably playing I’m going to play it sort of 195. I’m going to hit my seven iron just with a nice flat boring ball flight. Get myself a part. Got to got to really get my get it into gear here otherwise I’m in big I mean I’m already in big trouble. So, let’s play some good golf. Oh my gosh, that was nice. Yeah, it was bad. That was nice. Very nice. That was lovely though. Lovely. I love that. That was a tremendous shot by Bat. Um, we have a long way in. I’m going to hit a hard seven and just kind of peel it off Talon there. Come on, wind. Help it out. Jeez, I thought that was a really good shot. Help it out. Oh, that was full. I hit seven iron. Same as you. Um, that was a blew the green. That was uh It did. Oh, I don’t know. It’ll be interesting to see where that went. I think if that would have I don’t know. I’m I’m going to hold my judgment for when I get up there. Actually, I hit a pretty good shot. Um, landed probably a couple yards short of that pin, which was pretty nice. It was just wide and it landed off the green and bounded just obviously here. This is not too bad. Lie is a little bit sticky. Really thick lie there. So, I’m expecting this to come out kind of dead. Not bad outside chance, but not bad. I mean, that was a really sticky line there. I’m going to go kind of left edge, but Jay’s going to hold his. So, this has got to go in for the win. Too much pave. And it was low. I’m going to use that. Mercy. a mercy gimme. I’ve never seen a ball being picked up so quick in my life. I have 8 ft for par after that unfortunate miss um of the green there. Little right to left up the hill. Got to trust my line here cuz it kind of looks like a tricky read, but look it. This is going in. I remain three down, but at least I have a hole standard. All right, the putter is the greatest equalizer in golf. Unbelievable. 4 480 490 kind of um back into the breeze. Uh they do a good job of making things visually tough here, even though you do have a wide landing area, but it it’s pretty tough. in his water left and kind of looks like the world ends over on the right. Stay out of it, Rick. Stay out of it, boys. Every single time. Nice. All right, just need to get a solid one away here. Jay’s in good position. Oh, that’s a knuckle, too. Drive right there, dude. We’ve got sustained wind of like 10 mph gusting to like 20 today. So, usually when that that’s the case, you go 10 uh sustained and and gusting to 20 and you kind of have that. And typically, you kind of put on about 15 yards wind, but because it is quartering, you also have that. So, I’m going to say 7 to 8 of herd here on that wind. So, 68 uh + 8 is uh 76. And we want to be a little bit short of it. I think I don’t I want to I want to be smart here. And cuz I got a three up lead, I don’t I need to force him to make make him hit the shots. So, if I can hit a good shot here just short of the pin, that’d be great. That get smoked by the wind. Little in off the left. Going to hit an eight iron. Try and control the flight of it. Little kind of low punchy shot here. Stay, stay, stay. Got it. That’s That’s not bad, man. I think I can still see it. Yeah, it’s top right corner. Okay, that’s not bad. Yeah. Got to hold this. JJ might do something crazy, but I hope he doesn’t. I’m going to say it’s probably 50 ft up the hill. Um really tough pin location cuz you got to get it up the hill but then you got to stop it um pretty quick cuz it’s on the other side. Reckon it’s way longer than 50 ft. Great putt. Uh slightly downwind off the right once again in the driver’s seat. Just going to try and get something out to the right pin high if I can. If not, just a little bit short of it. Looks like it’s going to be an uphill part. Hold. Just your head. Oh, there. Oh, just on like a back bowl or something or like a little back bowl over there. I mean, that was pretty swing just past it, right? Man, that looks so nice in the air cuz you can see it the whole way on the camera. All right, 146. So, um, par five, he can take advantage with his length that’s coming up and and it’s a difficult Yeah, par five, difficult, uh, par five, par three and a long par four. When you’re trying to hit a low bullet, you don’t want that left. It’s for a righthander, you don’t want that left rider. There’s actually no hazard up that left hand side. How do you know that? Cuz I just zoomed in. That’s just like runoff between the trees like grass clippings and stuff. All the brown stuff. Settle in here and just hit a nice drive and see what we got here. Par five. That’s always never a good feeling when you’ve when you’re up and then you hit a drive and you’re like, is that in or out? That’s just the like right now it’s like you could have closed it out. It’s like, oh, but I might have g him a sniff, but if we get up there and he’s fine, I’m done. No, it’s just the worst feeling in the world. You don’t want that feeling. So, I’m just trying to I’m hoping that fingers crossed that it’s um somewhere in in flight. I think it’s all the way up there on the car park, buzzy, like another 50. Extremely lucky. 277. 277. Bad. And if I was giving him a piece of advice right now, I’d be like, “We need to land this on the fairway, not go at the green. We need to land this on the fairway just left of that bunk. Give yourself a chip. Give yourself a chance of birdie. Do not go for it.” Go for it. Me and driver or driver? Did you just say hit something short left of the bunker and Ra’s gone driver off the deck? I’ve been talking about it. I’m like, give yourself an opportunity. I am. Hit it. Great opportunity. I was not I was confident that I was going to What What is the percentage of you pulling that shot off, you think? Very little. Very little. I just back myself. Well, I You know what?
