Solid first round, bogey free. What did you think about your round? Yeah, good solid day. Um, a lot of good swings, couple of couple loose ones, but um no, I’m definitely happy about it. Um, you know, obviously playing fairly easy out there with the soft conditions, so I’ll fence them put together a nice round. Um, there’s definitely out there a lot of birdies to be made, but at the same time, there’s a few holes that you have to um keep your guard up and away and make sure you execute. Um, other than that, a lot of times where you can stay aggressive and and be on offense. So, um, yeah, good, solid, fairly simple day for me and it’s a nice way to start the week. What are we seeing from the course from the rainfall last night and kind of expecting as for this afternoon wave it’ll dry up? Yeah, it’ll start to dry a little bit, but I mean the golf course is really soft. Um, greens started our our back nine, they’re getting a little um little beat up because of how soft they are. I’m sure they’ll get a maybe a little bumpy this afternoon with as much traffic as there is, but um you I think forecast and everything looks pretty good. So hopefully it can continue to dry out, but I think today or this afternoon and and still tomorrow it’s going to be fairly soft. Amanda, yeah. Um first, can you talk about the black ribbon you’re wearing and your connection to Cody, how long you’ve known him? Yeah. Uh I mean, I’ve known Cody for for a handful of years. um you know he’s he’s helped me quite a bit uh on putters when I’ve used you know Odyssey product um great guy and you know this is his wife was was battling cancer for a while and was in remission and then um you know popped back up and unfortunately you know passed um I guess about a week and a half ago now. Um so he’s he’s someone that’s Cody’s part of the family out here and when you’re part of the family their family is part of the family too. So, um, you know, it’s it’s can’t really imagine, you know, what, you know, they’re all going through, him and his boys, uh, but to to be able at least help out and show our support. Um, I think everyone out here does a great job of that. And, um, you know, so hopefully we’ll we’ll be able to see him back out here soon. I know he loves being out here with all of us. Um but you know at this at this time it’s I know he wants to to be home with his boys and you know hopefully um you know they can they can get through this. Thank you. And then for the playoffs you’ve been on all ends from missing it to making it to East Lake. Has that perspective shaped your mindset at all for these last few weeks? Uh well at the end of the day uh good golf sells a lot of things. So um luckily I’ve been starting to play a little bit better the last few months and and had some decent finishes. Um so good solid start today but um yeah looking forward to you know play well this week and go to next week and put ourselves in a in a good position. Ultimately I think uh initial goal is to to make it to to BMW and be inside top 50. But um we’ll take it day by day for now. Do you let yourself think about the points and projections? Does that motivate you or do you just try and block it out? Uh well I mean I know where I am coming in this week. Um, I know a nice finish or a win would do a lot of good things. Um, so I wouldn’t say I’m necessarily calculating or I don’t know if I finish a certain spot where I’ll move to. Uh, like I said, good good golf solves a lot of things.
