The 32-year-old, appearing in his fourth RDER Cup, boasts a 742 overall record, including an undefeated 30 in singles. Thomas claimed his 16th PGA Tour title at the RBC Heritage in April and has posted eight TOP 10 finishes this season, including three runner-up results. Under captain Keegan Bradley, Team USA’s roster includes six automatic qualifiers. Scotty Sheffller, JJ Spawn, Xander Schaeoff, Russell Henley, Harris English, and Bryson Dambo along with six captain’s picks. Thomas, Sam Burns, Patrick Kentlay, Ben Griffin, Colin Morawa, and Cameron Young. Once remembered for shotgunning beers at the 2021 Ryder Cup, Thomas is now focused on helping Team USA reclaim the cup at Beth Page Black this September with Bradley expressing full confidence in the team’s mix of experience and talent.
