No One Saw It… But Justin Thomas Called It on Himself 😳
Justin Thomas showed that honesty matters more than the score. At the 2025 RBC Heritage, Thomas suddenly called for a rules official. Why? Rewind the footage. His T-shot landed in a waste area. As he cleared a few tiny rocks before his second shot, he noticed the ball shift ever so slightly. No one else saw it. No cameras, no spectators, only Thomas knew. Yet without hesitation, he reported it and took a one-stroke penalty on himself. The official respected his honesty, and the game went on. And maybe golf spirit rewarded him because Thomas still walked away with a clutch par

Tony Finau did the same
We need everyone to be like him.😊
This is why I dont respect, support or think our President is a moral individual or will ever make America Great Again. If, as we have all seen..he cheats on golf course (we have all seen the videos and reports by others) Trump takes short cuts and cheats to get ahead Winn..then how can/ he be for us all?
Cheat once and you'll always be labelled a cheat 🤥
Wait what is the rule? Why did he lose a stroke? Because his ball shifted?
It can be frustrating when you move something and it causes your ball to react
if ur ball ever so slightly moves , i mean jus like a few dimples, doesnt improve ur lie, there shood b no penalty
bob McIntyre is the boggest cheat ever
Doubt its honesty. He knows theres cameras everywhere
He sucks
Sponsorships end when the neckbeards notice online and it blows up. Can’t risk that.
Good on him. Stupid golf rule that shouldn’t incur a penalty
Nah, its bc theres a history of couch officials at home w/ dvr spotting it, phoning in, and players getting slapped with a bigger penalty even after turning in their score card. Rule change or not, its still on everyone's mind.
Hey donut fart you need to learn THIS IS HOW YOU SHOULD PLAY GOLF …… not like you when you get your caddy to drop a ball behind him
If you have to cheat to win then as a player, you really don't have much of a golf game. Now players that always struggle to win by definition don't have much of a golf game. For example, someone like Patrick Reed falls into that later category, while others have suggested he may well fit both categories?
and won
Another ignorant rule that golf needs to rid itself from. There is nothing to celebrate here.
It's the same in snooker, great sportsmanship.
What an idiot
Compare that to a guy we used to play with that we once caught him playing a sand trap barely out of view by picking up the ball with some sand and throwing it to the green.
It's a gentleman's game.
