“Win Takes Care of Everything” – Jason Day on BMW Championship Goals
Jason Day opened the 2025 BMW Championship in solid form, putting himself just two shots off the lead despite a costly bogey on the 18th. Reflecting on the round, Day discussed his strong driving, sharp putting late, and the need for smarter course management on key holes.
Sitting outside the top 30 in the FedExCup standings, Day acknowledged the “do-or-die” nature of the week—win and he’s in the TOUR Championship, otherwise his playoffs are over. Rather than focusing solely on qualifying, he’s aiming for victory, knowing that would solve everything.
The Australian also shared candid thoughts on moving playoff venues, the importance of returning to iconic courses in the Northeast and Midwest, and his current search for consistency after some recent struggles. With improved health and 18 seasons on TOUR under his belt, Day believes he can compete at a high level for many more years.
