We Played a FULL Round With Tiger Woods’ Irons… (BIG Mistake?) – TaylorMade P-7TW

We Played a FULL Round With Tiger Woods’ Irons… (BIG Mistake?) – TaylorMade P-7TW

We took on the ultimate challenge: playing a full 18-hole round with Tiger Woods’ actual irons. After testing the TaylorMade P7TW blades in our simulator studio, the comments rolled in—“You HAVE to try them on the course!” So today, we’re doing just that.

At our home course, Omni Interlocken, one of us is trying to break 80, another 90, and the last player:100. But with some of the most unforgiving irons in the game. Are we in over our heads? Can average golfers survive a round with blades made for the GOAT?

🎯 Will the clubs elevate our game—or completely ruin it? Watch as we battle these precision weapons, shot by shot, with real stakes on the line.

  1. Might be backwards, I'd rather bogey by hitting a bad putt and 3-putt then by hitting 2 bad shots and scrambling. I can get over a bad putt, but it's harder to feel confident in a swing that's spraying

  2. Two bad shots and 1 good shot CAN still help get ya par, but 3 putts and it's at least a bogey

  3. I skulled a shot using a p790 7i on a par 3, and the ball scurried 145 yards across the ground for a (dirty) hole in one.

  4. Honestly your threesome was just too much fun to watch! You guys did much better than I would have through, especially the high handicapper using those the Tiger blades with stiff steel. Those tough undulating greens can be real nightmares for players other than near scratch. It was super to see someone's young boy out there; he has a great opportunity to become a good player in the future.

  5. Guys guys who takes new blades to the course and tries to improve your score ? The first day ? TIGER Wouldn’t do this .
New clubs are new clubs they don’t fix anything by them selves ! You learn them , get the feel , know what each club can do for your … it’s a total new game with new clubs..
    if someone can’t drive a 1980 VW buying them a Harley won’t help !!!!

  6. If you are able to get the irons, why not get the full bag for this? The unforgiving nature of his irons multiplies with every driver or 3-wood you scream barely off the deck low and to the right.

  7. Kudos to the crew for making this a really nice video to follow, paired with the mic’ed up commentary as the boys work though their thoughts

  8. I don't understand this opinion that looking down at a blade iron is intimidating. I prefer the smaller blade and thinner topline of blade irons. I bought my Titleist 690 mb over 23 years ago with the sole reason to make me a better ball striker rather than get clubs to make me score better. It worked. I tried some other game improvement irons but after playing blades for so long the look of that huge head at the end of the club just doesn't feel right to me. I do really enjoy watching your videos, they are very informative and entertaining. Keep it up.
