YOKOHAMA, JAPAN – July 6, 2025 – The inaugural SHISEIDO•JAL LADIES OPEN concluded today at the Totsuka Country Club West Course, with a thrilling finish seeing Japanese golfers Saki Nagamine and Megumi Kido share the championship title. Both players finished the final round tied at an impressive seven-under-par (209 total), marking a memorable start for Japan Airlines as a new special sponsor of the prestigious JLPGA Tour event.

The final round saw intense competition unfold under clear skies. Megumi Kido delivered a stellar performance today, carding a five-under-par round to surge up the leaderboard and join Nagamine, who maintained her strong play throughout the tournament. The joint victory highlights the depth of talent on the Japan Ladies Professional Golf Association (JLPGA) Tour.

The SHISEIDO•JAL LADIES OPEN, the 17th event of the 2025 JLPGA Tour season, boasted a substantial total prize money of ¥120,000,000, with the winners sharing the top prize of ¥21,600,000. This year marked a significant milestone for the tournament, as Japan Airlines stepped in as a special sponsor, adding their name to the event and reinforcing their commitment to supporting sports and promoting well-being.

The tournament, previously known as the Shiseido Ladies Open, has a rich history of showcasing top talent. Past champions include Shiho Kuwaki (2024), Kokona Sakurai (2023), Serena Aoki (2022), Ai Suzuki (2021), and Hinako Shibuno (2019). The 2020 event was cancelled.
