These are such good drills to calibrate your imagination to reality. That towel really creates a perfect target. 🤙🏽
Id love a pre shot routine drill
That sweatsuit is soooo expensive lol it is dope tho
Would love to see putting drills/ a putting practice session that J day does
Keep after it, rooting you on!!
i want to know who maintains this practice facility because it is immaculate
I got a new method Jason
Show us the cross body right danceski u pull off
J day, you're a modern day Seve. The golf world takes videos like this for granted, so generous of you. Can you do a solo video with some decade type of structure? Break down where the fairway is skinny, wide and at what some of your target distances are for 3 wood, 5 wood, 7 wood and why you may choose to lay back on certain holes.
I’ll give this a go today but my skill level not sure it will go as well 😅🤣 great advise tho thanks 👍🏻
I'm pretty new to golf and struggle with my aim. Most of the time the ball goes much further right than where I think I'm aiming. I would love a drill on direction. This was a great video, thanks.
You are a great ambassador to the game and it's been a pleasure watching you play. You are a fantastic role model for the younger generation
J Day we would watch you talk about chipping for days on end. It’s like golf crack for us sickos.
More chipping and wedge technique videos would be awesome!
Hey Jay Day, even though you missed the cut at John Deere, I see you're golf swing mechanics is exactly where you need it be..focus more on target and less on swing thoughts .. I believe you can win the Open Championship, just trust the process ..God bless and good luck overseas..
Thanks! On my way to the short game practice area.
Possible video. Best to use a variety of wedges or just get proficient with say a 52degree. Pros v cons of both approaches
Definitely need a “bunt” driver drill. Low wind dodger…. Lads style sheepdog runners
Yes lad ⛳️🎯
You'd think being his neighbor, he would invite me over to prove that his techniques work with an average golfer.
How about bunker shots
Fantastic lesson. I love the way he really went into depth on things like grip, stance, alignment, and rhythm. Can’t wait to apply it.
Hi Jason, love your game and please share your green reading method. Thank you
Nice lesson Jason! I’m having my hip replaced in 5 weeks so I’ll be giving this towel drill for sure!
Awesome!! How do you adjuste for fluffy lies to make sure you dont get that high clubface strike thats always short…. change loft grip down shaftlean etc. Would be nice to hear your take on this. Wish you all the best.
Good drill
Jason – Thank you so much for sharing your drills! It's a pleasure to learn from one of the best! Can you do one with "trouble shots" where you chip from under a tree, out of thicker rough, etc. My balls seem to find these areas most of the time! lol
good drill
Hey Jason that s a great technique which I’m going to give a go for sure. Can you talk more about the types of wedges you use around the green? Are you always using a 60degree? I find it is too lofted for me so I use my 54 mostly.
The lads is such a bad idea. Just Jason day would of been fine
How did you come up with your chipping technique? You have very little to no wrist break. Looks like you don't utilise a lot of the bounce. You still seem to use a bit of leading edge. What bounce do you typically play on your wedges? How do you play a flop shot? How do you change your swing based on lie and grass types. I'm in Sydney and play a lot on Kyke which is obviously quite different to the surface you play on most weeks. Then there's the issue of moisture under the surface. It's very difficult to feel secure in finding the bottom of the swing with Kyke and damp soil. Sorry for too many questions.
