  1. I give everyone that advice stay off of YouTube swing your swing don’t worry about anyone else master your swing and the rest of the game will come with notice how am I saying master your swing and not change your swing whatever comes naturally is always better then something that isn’t

  2. And it’s not because people don’t know what they are talking about. It’s because it’s just too much information too many different pieces of advice it can become overwhelming.

  3. Agree with the first, disagree with the second. Amateurs beating balls can be counterproductive. I know from experience. Amateurs should practice short game…almost exclusively. Far more valuable.

  4. Tried to learn how to hit a golf ball on YouTube, wasn’t working. Got 1 lesson from a pro and now I can hit it somewhat straight, and I added pretty much 20-40 yards on every club and that’s just one lesson. YouTube doesn’t take into account that everyone’s biomechanics into account and that funnily enough someone who actually looks at your swing and gives you tips might actually make you hit better than a YouTuber who hasn’t met you and has never seen your swing.

  5. Terrible advice. I dropped my handicap 10 points and a big part of it was youtube videos. If you cant afford lessons you need to get info from somewhere

  6. There is a lot of good golf instruction on YouTube. Do your research and it will be worth it. If multiple instructors say the same thing then it’s probably true. You gotta gain a knowledge for the swing and game on your own.

  7. This is little bit hypocritical for him to say that when he has a massive following on youtube!! The thing that gets me is tiger for me is like what earl was for tiger and the only way I get to somewhat experience it is on youtube!!!

This is abit of a lowblow for us tiger fans

  8. I say this all the time. 150 Tour pros every weekend. 150 different swings and they’re all making $ playing golf. Go to the range and just work on what you got. Once it becomes muscle memory you’ll know how to play your slice/hook whatever. Just own your swing and learn how to play with it. And the practice means you will only get better. Cases in point: Matt Wolf, JD, Furyk, Couples, Rory, Scheffler…all something “odd” about their swing. But they own it and have made millions with it.

  9. No one can deny Tiger's golf accomplishments, but as a human being and as an American his judgement sucks big Brizillian nuts. Sucking up to Trump and other Republicans just proved how confused his little white mind has come to be.
