When I was a kid, I took the club back, severely to the inside and I might have come over a bit, but I was definitely on plane. I hit the ball, (balata & wood driver, steel shaft 43 inches long) prestigious distances. Today, although technically, a much better player, with modern equipment, I don’t hit the driver anywhere close to the same distances. 🤷♂️👴🏻. Father Time has not been kind to me. 😮💨
