Jordan Spieth matched his career-low round on the PGA Tour with a 9-under 62 final round at TPC Craig Ranch, the Texas native also hailed Scheffler as an inspiration who’s pushed him to raise his game.
But he was well behind Scottie Scheffler who is tearing up the course ahead of his opposition.
Scottie Scheffler was our pick for The CJ Cup on this week’s preview show — and he delivered in his home state! 🔥

He’s a class act…hopefully will stay that way..
Humble and committed
He needs to stop making excuses every week and work on his game.
Every week it's excuses excuses excuses
Impossible not to like Jordan, what a story if he could get his slam at Quail, 2 in one year would be awesome
Still my favorite golfer. He captured me a a big fan when he was winning all those majors and he still makes shots that make the highlight reel. He is such a creative golfer and is inspirational. I really am hoping this is the year he gets back to the top and that he get his career grand slam either this year or next.
It ain't easy but he is a grinder. Fun to watch. Scottie is a beast!
Golf is so strange when you analyze your round how you could have easily saved two strokes or so on your round from silly mistakes…. but the other guy your playing against can always say the same thing lol
Jordan has great short games😊But not his irons.
Scheffler is incredible….. I think the course was too easy for these guys but when you see him in full flow just relentlessly hitting fairways and greens but not just greens, 6 foot from the hole, it’s very impressive.
Looking forward to seeing him in the rest of the Majors this season and think he will pick up at least one.
