Tiger Woods • GREATEST Of All Time • Documentary
He changed golf forever. Then he lost everything.
This is the full story of Tiger Woods, from child prodigy and global superstar to scandal, injury, and a fall from grace.
But just when the world counted him out, he delivered one of the greatest comebacks in sports history, and became the greatest of all time!
Hope you enjoy 🙂
🐐
The goat, grew up with him thru his career.
He should have never attempted to be some kinda robot navy seal. Dude ruined his body. You can get over the mental and emotional stuff but your body cannot take all the damage.
Yeah Curtis, somebody did in fact learn, but it wasn't tiger, it was the rest of the tour/world that learned……..
🐐💨
Nicklaus has almost double Wood's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes in the majors. Nicklaus is the goat. Wood's #2.
Always an argument on the GOAT for golf. One item that is not up for discussion. Tiger moved the needle for golf. Sport for old fat white guys in goofy pants…until 1997. NOBODY has had an impact on the game like Eldrick. Nobody. How many golfers were inspired in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s by Jack, Arnie, insert any name you want here. Nobody. Who inspired just about every golfer since early 2000’s? Tiger.
nope. His Major professional career numbers don't even come close to Nicklaus: Jack: 18 wins, 19 seconds…..Tiger: 15 wins, 5 seconds. 37 vs 20. Nicklaus by a landslide. Now, TW was the potential GOAT for a decade+ w 14 wins and certainly the finest athlete to ever play golf; all by hisself he elevated golf from a "game" to a sport….but then made a mess of his personal life, and then embarked on years of self-punishing non-accidental "accidents" and injuries culminating in the March 2021 solo car crash that near killed him and finished off his career. With only one more Major to show for it all. Put it this way: suppose Woods was a white guy instead of a member of an entitlement group that whites are supposed to bow and scrape to. Think a white guy w his #'s would be thought greater than Jack? Nope, not, never.
Nicklaus is the GOAT because he's the only golfer to have won 4 majors in a row
I count myself so fortunate to have been given the privilege of seeing Tiger Woods win the Byron Nelson tournament one year. Watching him drive the ball live was something that is difficult to describe. Unfortunately, being the moron I was, I didn't think to bring a camera. This was long before the days of camera cell phones. So I have no personal pictures or video of that day. And its hard to describe how often that creeps up on me, and I just have to sit there, with a big sigh of deep regret, shaking my head back & forth.
not even close to the greatest of all time
I'm 47, and Tiger Woods is the only reason I ever got interested in golf. I was 22 maybe, and my Daddy bought me an old set of some old Northwestern blades from the early 80's, and persimmon Titleist woods. I thought it was the best thing ever. I played countless hours on the local course, hacking it up every time. But, I LOVED it! Finally bought myself a new set of Adams tight lies and I was officially hooked. Got better, but not great. I took over 10 years off, and within the last couple years, took it back up like I never stopped. Anyway, point of all that is to say, without Tiger Woods, SOOOOO many people would never experience the greatest game ever. Especially people my age. I personally never watched Jack, Arnie, Seve, or Hogan. But in my opinion I watched the career of the absolute greatest golfer to ever live. Not only did he bring so much attention to the game, he completely mastered it.
Off topic, but in Basketball, Wilt Chamberlain is the all time goat. Look at the record books. No one comes close. The most dominant player the game has ever seen. Bill Russell agreed.
He will always be the Second best ever golfer
I'm not even going to lie. I completely forgot about these scandals he had. Screw it. He's more than redeemed himself.
Only problem with the video is the title. Because he’s not the greatest, he’s great no doubt. He brought more money to the game for sure. People say, he brought physical fitness and weight training to the game. No, Gary Player was doing that back in the 1950’s. Only problem, no one else would do it. Everyone thought he was a little nuts. But look at him now, he’s in his last 80’s and still being able to move well and play. Tiger won’t be able to walk when he’s in his 70’s. He has a hard time now and he isn’t 50 yet. But, he’s had a great career, with dominant wins for a short period of time. Jack Nicklaus was more dominant. Just look up the stats, sure he has 82 wins, but so does Sam Snead. How many Majors, 2nd in Majors, Top 3, Top 5 and Top 10 finishes in Majors? It’s not even close. Jack had a dominant career, Tiger had dominant wins…there’s a difference. But still one of the greatest of all time. He was a more complete player than Jack. Jack didn’t have the best short game around the greens. If he had Lee Trevino’s short game he would have had 25 or more Majors.
Jack has more majors than tiger than same way bill russell has more rings than jordan. BUT jordan and tiger are the true goats of their sports. its more than just titles and majors. its influence, impact, revolutionizing the sport, records, accolades, stats, eye test, moments of greatness. Tiger is unequivocally the best Golfer ever by any metric aside from the amount of majors won. period
Tiger was better at 2 years old than I am at 38. Its as comical as it is depressing lol
Nicklaus, end of debate..what he did in 86 was the nail in the coffin for the goat debate….nicklaus major record is ridiculous. No one even comes close
Jack Nicklaus is the GOAT until tiger can beat his records
1999-2008 Tiger vs prime anyone . Tiger was 3-4 years ahead of all Jacks accomplishments at same age until 2008. If want to factor in career longevity you have a legitimate point . Tiger 2000-2008 was the best golf ever played by a wide margin.
