  4. I saw Tiger play the Nissan L.A. Open at Riviera CC in 1992 as a 16 year old amateur. I also saw Tiger play the Skins Game in 2005 at Trilogy Golf ⛳️ Club in La Quinta CA. His last skins game. Memorable because Anika Sōrenstam Tiger Woods, Fred Funk and Fred Couples all played. Anika and Fred Funk had a side bet that if she out drove Fred he would play in a skirt. Well on the 3rd hole with their side bet in place Anika did just that and Fred played the rest of the hole in a pink flowered skirt much to the delight of the other 3 players and to the gallery. However it never made it to air but Fred was chastised by Anika for reading his putt with his legs apart and not being ladylike.
    Fred also enlisted the help of Tiger on the read and he suggested Fred play the putt “ two balls outside of his skirt” The gallery died laughing but wasn’t suitable for TV. Tiger ended up winning the hole and $75,000 in Skins.
    Happy I saw Tiger play twice and many years apart and was fortunate to get his autograph in 1992 and 2005. As well as Anika, Fred and Fred Funk. In fact have the sports page from the Sunday Desert Sun paper with Fred in his skirt and signed by him. Memories to cherish by great players. What I’m most impressed by now is Tigers still wanting to win and be competitive BUT taking the time to enjoy and laugh and engage with fans. It’s fantastic to see him stopping to “ smell the roses” these days. His records stand for themselves and always will but this is an AWESOME side we are seeing of Tiger!!!!! And lastly Tiger my condolences on the loss of your mother and may you and your family find peace. I know she was your ultimate cheerleader and now she’s got the best seat to watch you play from up in heaven. Rest in Peace Mrs. Woods

  7. I’m just so glad we got to see this happy tiger after what he’s been through, it would of been a travesty if that last we saw of tiger was when he was going through everything, glad he has found himself again 👍🏻🇬🇧🇺🇸
