Who u got? And why??????
Il mio ragazzo ha detto che questo video gli ha migliorato la giornata. Ora vuole provare a fare qualcosa di simile🧡
Jack
Jack was great. Tiger was unbelievably dominant for a long period. Probably never again but maybe.
Tiger was more dominant and consistent but too bad he tarnished his legacy. For golf, he was superior.
Tiger had an epic battle against golf titan Bob May! His other epic battles included…
Very enjoyable topic Brendon, made a change from lessons, AI is amazing.
Irons would be a wash as blades were blades then. Tiger’s pt 15 fairway wood came out in 84 along with the Titleist’s metal wood drivers. Taylormade’s metal wood came out in 79.
As a computer scientist AI is mostly over hyped crap.
At the end of the day AI is only a computer programmed by infallible human beings. It cannot judge the heart and determination of human beings. It would be lovely to see the Jack tiger match for Real but it's only a guess who would really win.
Tiger. Major wins, is the only significant record Jack holds over Tiger and arguably it's not as significant as win percentage in general.
Jack for the butterfly collars😊
20:35 tiger 15 out of 18(83%) greens in the wind at carnoustie? 😂
Hard to pick. Jack was the ultimate ball striker. Jack and Tiger great putters. Tiger better short game. Mental toughness hard to pick one over the other.
Brendon have u seen any videos of golf coach liam robinson? Check out james whiltshire channel "golf game transformed in one lesson"
Jack would have had a hard time beating Tiger in 2000, especially through the Open. But Jack would have would have been equal most of the rest of his career. There were periods where Jack played much better. Tiger had his off years, and so did Jack. It really depends on the course and the year.
I think the main missing factor is that tiger wouldn’t have been the same golfer if he was playing professionally back then. It’s the reason little kids are so skilled in so many endeavors now days, because of the people that paved the way so many years ago. Unless you just put tiger in a Time Machine I don’t think you could ever really say who would win. I’d like to see what the ai would say if you phrased it as “if tiger and jack were born in the same year who would win”
This is dumb.
Groks analysis on Jacks driving is way off. Jack was long, very long. They kept Shotlink type stats in 1968, I believe, Jack was 2nd on tour in driving, losing by .1 yards average. IIRC Jack was at 275.
So the leader in distance in 1986 was Davis Love III who averaged 285.7. TW is not dropping to 265-275 that is outrageous. Oh, you caught it good job. I give the edge to Tiger mainly because he's very good inside 100 yards. Jack supposedly was not. They're both amazing with mid to long irons and driver. Jack probably a little more accurate, Tiger a little longer. This is Tiger 2000 we're talking about. If we're talking early 60s Jack then length would be more comparable.
I say Tiger would have been more dominant. If Tiger hadn't dealt with all the injuries I have no doubt that he would have at least 20 majors wins by now. He had the better swing plus the will power over Jack, in my opinion. Did that thing factor in length of courses? I'm not gonna watch it again.
They did actual schedule a match to determine who the greatest ever was. May 4th 2004 at Brookline. Unfortunately, Tiger was nursing a sore gluteus which could not be activated and did not show up. Winner by default: The Bear
I can't seem to find the data but I heard on a telecast once that when Jack played there were 30 guys with scoring averages below 72 and when Tiger played it was 100.
Both in there prime Tiger wins
The "Yours Truly AI" also has Jack winning more often.
Can’t believe people still think Jack is better than Tiger. Apart from major wins, Tiger beats Jack on pretty much every stat. The number of high calibre competitors was far higher for Tiger than Jack and he was far more dominant even with this. He held all 4 majors at same time, was number one for far longer than any other player and had to perform under much greater pressure. If Tiger hadn’t self destructed in late 2000s he would’ve easily surpassed 18 majors.
