Its really hard go believe that Jack was in a literal psychosis, to the point where he called a guy a liar. I can only imagine he was being sarcastic or hes very mentally ill. He knows how rediclius that statement is and maybe he meant when it mattered because obviously many times he was finishing in 30th place after a long week, ur not gonna just turn it on for 18. Like if you have a 4 n half footer if your confidence came from a false belief you would start doing poorly
love to see Nick talk more about the mental game, his book was excellent and he seems to understand and be able to articulate it.
