He was a Top 10 PGA Tour Player, Now He’s Barely Relevant

But technical swing issues, family commitments, and rising competition have challenged his career. Despite winning the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic, inconsistency continues to plague this former phenom. A deep dive into how golf’s orange-clad sensation lost his shine, and whether a comeback is still possible at age 35.
Im feeling a Rickie Fowler comeback
Rickie Fowler WILL WIN a Major in 2025.
The end.🎉
Great vid👍
I, for one, hope for his strong comeback.
I’m a fan.
He’s currently 74th…he had a few solid performances in majors the last couple years since he went back to Butch Harmon. He needed to grow up a little
Butch Harmon turned his swing golden
I thought he did pretty well last year or year before didn’t he?
he played his best when his swing was flatter…..
He got married & fell off
Rickie won the players after the overrated poll
I believe in Rickie. I once watched him on the range at the Open hitting driver. He hit 15 shots all carried 308 yards and you could have throw a towel over them 🤜🏼🤛
Ricky Fowler was never a top PGA tour player. He was hyped as a great player. Media sensation only.
He is rich from playing a game that we pay to play. I think he wins.
He was hyped up because of his image: constructed by his management team.
Doesn't have the pure ability within pro tournaments.
Just one more BS blowout.
His fellow pros are correct…..severely overrated
Mid career lull. Not to be written off imho
Puxxy 😩😱
The word 'professional' translates to earning a living from ones endeavors. I think he's doing just fine.
Kinda like Cobra
Golf is hard.
One sweet looking wife
Sucks to suck
Ricki is in early 30 's made millions. Married a swim suit model and decided playing the back nine at home was a hell of allot more fund than spending hours on the range. Ricki is going to be just fine.
Rickie is just another flash in the pan!
crazy calling rickie barely relevant. everyone in the game knows rickie dickie
He had five top tens in 2023 and another in 2024… and tied 74.
Back at the height of Ricky’s fame I sent him a video of my swing while I was in high school and he actually answered with a number of tips and I ended up shooting my best score that year after implementing them. That interaction alone will make me always appreciate the type of person he is
I will never forget that Players! Did he birdie the 17th 2 times in an hour with the playoff. Been watching PGA since Van De Velde's breakdown. I have 5 memories etched in my brain and Ricky @ the players was one.
He should’ve went for that par 5..
Crazy. He has 10 wins on the PGA tour and won in 2023. He’s a very solid player but he never was one of the all time greats.
He’s winning in life
I would say he did ok.
He's doing what he loves and making more $$ than 99% of us. He's doing great. He's living the life HE wants.
He came with alot of Hollywood style hype and frankly the golf game needed it then and way worse now. That sport is dying on a vine. Resuscitation needed. Need a hundred Fowlers.
I will always root for Rickie even though my dude now is Xander
Hes too short he has to swing harder to keep up with the goons. Plus his putting stinks now especially short putts😢
"snow" effect is so annoying
Ricky will be great. The only reason the article seems relevant is because of us being spoiled by what’s possible due to watch Tiger Woods in his career. Very few golfers have a career long run.
