The PGA TOUR descends on Arizona’s TPC Scottsdale once again for one of the most vibrant events of the season, the WM Phoenix Open. Scottie Scheffler returns after making his 2025 debut at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am last week where he finished T9. Scheffler will be looking forward to heading to Phoenix after winning in 2022 and ’23, then finishing T3 in his three-peat effort a year ago. Jordan Spieth is also set to tee it up for the second week in a row after returning from an injury. Spieth has a sparkling record at TPC Scottsdale, with five top 10s in eight starts, including back-to-back T6s. Nick Taylor returns to defend his title from 2024. The Canadian star finished runner-up to Scheffler in 2023 and won in a playoff last year. Taylor has a win already this season, having captured the Sony Open in Hawaii. Other names to look out for include Sepp Straka, Hideki Matsuyama, Justin Thomas, Robert MacIntyre and Tom Kim.

  1. In what world does Detry win by 7 after a 65, where only 5 of his shots are featured? I recoon you need to feature the champ a bit more

  2. PGA must do the courses much more difficult. To put and demand more effort, more dedication on the rich spoild lazy players. And slso makes the game more exciting for viewers. Changes in leaderboard more often and bigger with players mistakes and a five stroke lead more often can be lost in one or two holes. Now the people screaming and celebrate for regular shots, its just lame and boring. And when you look, there is just almost empty stands until the leader ball comes in the last day from hole 16. Not many tournament last year has been exiting or fun to watch. And those that has been fun to watch has always been on the most difficult courses

  3. Too much focus on putting. I know, it's putt for dough, but it doesn't make one putt after another after another… very interesting.

  4. Detry's babies definitely understood the assignment. How cute were they clapping and smiling ear to ear for their daddy?

  5. Same problem different day for PGA tour, trying to watch the tournament on ESPN+ (another scam by disney) only Option to watch is Justin Thomas feature group?? Not the final group, not the world number 1 group not even the top what 5final groups but Justin Thomas?? Ok…. thanks for making me have to watch these highlights to only see 4highlights of Detry… always complaining about views but this is the kind of entertainment we get. Please do better it is 2025 for crying out loud. How hard is it to put cameras on every whole and show the shots being taken everywhere???

  6. These highlights are absolutely awful, the guy wins by 7, we see 5 of his shots, 4 of them putts. But thank you for letting me delight in Putnam, Moore et al making 10 footers. Commentators are almost apologetically happy for him too

  7. This is a huge win! 💪🏼 and a well deserved victory for Detry 👏🏼 A lot of hard work and dedication to finally get his first victory on the PGA/European. He kept pushing, keeping faith, getting stronger. Wishing him many more 👏🏼🔥

  8. I like the names of the pga tour events, eg Farmers Open, Waste Management etc. Speiths’ par on 11 was highlight of the day. Love to see him win a couple of majors this year.

  9. Nobody wants to see a bunch of people holing putts. We know if it’s in the highlights it’s going in. Let’s see some shaped drives or clean iron shots. Lame!
