He's talking about the toughest tests and toughest fields
Masters is an Invit and not the deepest field. Conditions are not as varied as the others although PGA is historically not set up as tough as US Open or The Open Championship. Same venue vs diff every year(although rotation for US and Open Ch). I would rank them US Open, Open Champ, Masters, then PGA.
As a golfer and living in the USA, I would say that the U.S. Open in # 1 for me then the Masters, and then the Open, cause of crossing the Pond.. PGA ok but so is the Players…
The US Open number one for sure. Masters sits at number 2 in my very humble opinion
