TGL Season Opener: Tiger and Rory: The Legacy of Their League Revealed!!!

What is the TGL golf league?

The TGL (TGL Golf) is a new, innovative golf league founded by TMRW Sports (a company co-founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy). It features team-based competition with PGA Tour stars playing on a tech-infused, virtual course in a primetime, stadium environment.  

How does the TGL work?

Teams: Six teams of three PGA Tour players compete in a custom-built arena.  

Format: Matches consist of 15 holes, blending virtual shots on a simulator with live short game and putting on a physical green.  

Technology: Advanced simulator technology (Full Swing) tracks ball flight and creates a dynamic virtual course.  

Speed: Matches are designed to be fast-paced and engaging, with a two-hour target time.  
Is Tiger Woods playing in the TGL?

Yes! Tiger Woods is not only a co-founder of TMRW Sports, but he is also a player and captain of his own TGL team. This allows him to compete in a format that is less physically demanding than traditional golf.

When does the TGL season start?

The inaugural TGL season teed off on January 7, 2025

. Matches are primarily held on Monday nights at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
