I am a fan of Bryson but he would of not duplicated what Scottie has done, or even beat him. He os a great player but not as consistent as Scottie yet, maybe one day

NBC is the CNN of golf. Always gonna bash the other side no matter what. That’s why people have stopped watching. Scottie is not the phenom the PGA is wanting him to be, playing against a heavily reduced field.
Scottie didn't battle the LIV guys many times in 2024. If we just sample the 4 majors, then Scottie only beat the Liv guys in the masters. In the 3 other majors LIV guys finished ahead of Scheffler each time. So, clearly Brooks is right. If the LIV guys had teed it up in all the events which Scottie won, then chances are they would have beat him some of those times.
He was ask a question during an interview, context make a difference. If you've heard the whole interview, there nothing controversial about it. It's an honest answer. His opinion, which should carry more weight than any talking head from the Golf Channel.

I’m not gonna lie stats don’t lie when your approaching on tiger woods type of stats with scoring average and all that it didn’t matter who was playing on the tour that guy is and was hard to beat. Also they played together in the majors Scottie won one and competed in some others it may have been slightly different but I think regarding all of that Scottie still would of had a similar outcome
