The foundation of Nicklaus' golf swing was what he considered as the most memorable lesson's that Jack Grout would give him. He would stand in front of Nicklaus and hold his hair so he couldn't move his head. And hit dozens of balls like that with Jack Grout holding his hair. And his ball position never changed for every club. He played everything off of his left heel. Simplicity!
