Making Tiger finish out on 6 in the pouring rain from .5 ft was some petty stuff from Jimmy. Not a great idea to fire Tiger up. Lost on the next hole. 😂

Just think. Your knees are knocking over a 3 footer with your best buddies watching. Imagine having a slippery 4 footer to continue your path to win a tournament for the 3rd straight year with a massive gallery watching you and just banging it into the cup, where it would miss at least 8 feet past if it went by. And Tiger never misses those in clutch situations. Like NEVER. What a guy.

So this was a dandy along with the Ernie Els playoff but the Rocco Mediate US OPEN was the crown jewel of utter edge of your seat golf madness!!
Fluff was a great caddie; and he knew just how special Tiger was personally. Ended up on Furyk's bag; not too bad either. Tough enough to beat a healthy Tiger, then you remember that at this time he had all of his 17 girlfriends too. As the BeeGees song…too much heaven. What a playoff! I remember watching it live. I can't believe it's been 23 years. Where does time go?
