  1. What's has been achieved in the past will never fade away. It's still a great career. Even Tiger and Rory went through dark moments. Class always comes drifting up.

  2. Could be something to do with the gambling industry, most big money sport revolves around this! And the outcome is fixed for maximum profit unfortunately 😢⛳️

  3. I think it's right to say he hasn't fulfilled expectations, but perhaps those expectations were too high. But, anyone who's won the Masters and the Open, the two most iconic tournaments in golf, ain't bad.

  4. Golf is like life. It hardly goes like the way you want it to. One day it's great, but then the next day it's totally opposite of what you expected.

  5. One hole ruined his career…..say what? He later goes on to win The Open Championship. If he had not ever won another tournament you might have a point. Stupid topic.

  6. The problem with this video is that it's inconsistent. At one point, you say he'll never be the same again. And then, 20 seconds later, you acknowledge that he won the Open Championship the year after his meltdown. You need to rethink how you frame your narratives.

  7. Even with his downfall winning 3 of the 4 major championships and coming in 2nd in the other is a hell of a career lol. I’d be happy with it

  8. The fact he came back to win 6 majors after that collapse says more about his character and game than the collapse

  9. Its weird how this can happen in golf. Because its not as physically demanding, I eould consider golf to be almost more like playing music. Theres a technique and a rythm that you have to find. Unless you got some series back injury or something, as long as you practice, that technique and rythm should stay. You dont hear about musicians all of a sudden losing their ability to play. Unless they got injured somehow.

  10. That 12th hole was almost as bad as the narrator's voice! Im sure spieth is doing just fine not giving 2 fks about this guy making money off his bad shots!

  11. It's funny that we live in a world where placing top 10 in PGA events and being ranked in the top 25 plummets you to "mediocrity" lmao

  12. I recall watching this live, just before he hit that shot I said " as long as he doesn't block it right, he will win" of course having watched the Masters since 1972 I knew how many players had lost their chance to win by losing their shot to the right on the world's most treacherous pat 3

  13. Didn’t watch any of the video. Just came here to say if winning another major and several more tournaments after this constitutes a “ruined” career. I’d take it all day.
