Im not taking tips from a guy who swings his irons off a tee
everyone is different, the first works better for me but I always check where I am at the top as well, once you get used to it you are good
I was taught the first technique by my coach, the idea of the first technique I was given ( I may be wrong) was to downswing> twist your twist your hand a little and slap the ball to make it go further. But it caused me lots of problem like hooking or just pulling it to the left. I went with the 2nd swing just for easier and consistent contact, but are there any disadvantages to the 2nd swing?
Why do you take no divot?
I think your down swing is too herky jerky .
Square is in line/parallel with your spine, if you get to the 3 oclock position and then stand up straight, the toe will point to the sky and inline with your spine if square.
I agree, always, it starts with the takeaway, how cant it, it's the first move in the golf swing, I'd love to hear your thoughts on how your getting the arms and club back in the first 2 feet?? sling, a push, ground force from lead side, ?? always a thought for me. I've learned from mistakes for many years that the takeaway if done correctly makes the rest of the golf swing that much more effortless. I was always thinking about positions, big mistake. yes we can breakdown the swing to practice and get the correct feels for the certain individual, if I'm doing the correct takeaway and have the correct shoulder plane , tilts, side bends, etc etc, for me that is, it makes the golf swing effortless.i have zero thoughts about transition, rotation, we should never have to think about getting lead side up and back , it should happen automatically from what we've done before contact. I was so thick headed for many years until I finally listen to coaches who talked about effortless power, with angular momentum. Sorry sounds like a rant, but I come the school of hard knocks and I'd rather not see anyone go thru what I went thru lol lol , frustration and injuries.
100% JT is lost. That face is opening and then has to shut, so he’s hot when he times it, and cold when he doesn’t and gets in pressure. He’s talented and will get back in form. I agree with keep in the face square with the spine. It’s easier to keep it there. Good point, Man!
If you want to fade the ball…sure. If you want a draw….do it the way Justin does it.
Stand with your back to the wall one feet away and then swing. If you cup, you might hit the wall ?? In the downswing, slide the club head on the wall.
Hey as a realitivly new golfer how do you focus on so many aspects of your golf swing, personally I don't know how to focus on doing all these things at once in order to hit a good shot, are there any tips that you have that can help me focus on doing all these things?
Can we please stop saying Nelly KoHda, it’s KoRda. It’s been multiple clips now 😂. Just thought we’d pay some respect to her historic run this year !
