it’s hard because Bryson earned it but then also Rory choked it Bryson played outrageously well all week long and he had to do it at a place like this to really just solidify the type of allaround player he is he’s not one-dimensional he has a lot of artistry to his game he has a lot of touch he’s able to make these creative approaches towards the green and kind of see where the ball is going to go unbelievable stuff truly unbelievable stuff and then on the other side Heartbreak by Rory maroy if he wins the tournament it’s one of the great putting performances of all time on Sunday he could have made those three- Footers and just won the golf tournament that’s it misses a couple three-footer Bryson hits an incredible shot out of the bunker and it’s over and Rory’s already at his hotel yeah it felt like the putts were going in and then he just missed those two completely shortens but it felt like Destiny he had a two- shot lead for about 10 minutes and then it was gone

  5. They both had incredible moments, and both had ones they would have loved to have gone a different way. Probably both players inches away from even running away it. At the end of the day, BD did enough to beat toughest field, in the toughest conditions, under the bighest pressure, at the time he had to do it. So you have to give it to the guy that won.

  7. No other player in the field got up and down from that bunker on 18. Bryson missed a short putt as well, Rory missed 2… who’d you rather have in a playoff? I’ll take Prime Bryson all day errrryday

    Also, no handshake/congrats from Rory after the round!? WTF that about

  8. The “second pace guy chocked” is the dumbest take in sports. There are no pictures on a score card and 1st place is 1st place especially if what you won took place over 4 days and 72 holes.

  10. Rory definitely let it slip and gave it away, but Bryson earned that well deserved par on 18 for recovering from that tee shot and the bunker shot for the up and down. That’s more impressive to me. Bryson still would’ve forced a playoff if Rory didn’t miss that putt

  14. Hard to watch Rory implode on a few makeable putts but Bryson only hit 5/14 fairways which definitely affected approaches – it was a tough course and either could have won … it just happened to be brysons day

  15. Bryson won that tournament. Rory choked to have chance for a play off . Everyone misses putts . Rory bogeyed 3 of the last 4 holes . Portnoy should fire you guys and start over .

  18. Rory is a Soy Boy, his action by not fist bumping fans between holes and Bryson slapping everyone he could was Karma. Also, I'm not one for spirts. But it felt as if Payne was looking down on this one.
