Why Golf’s “Fundamentals” DON’T MATTER! #golf
I don’t think your posture your grip or your alignment guarantees anything and the reason I say that is because I turn on golf on Sundays and I see guys with different postures guys with different grips and guys aiming different and so I’m like man maybe we’ve got this wrong maybe what’s important is actually uh the contact on the face the path of the club and the face of the club maybe that’s what’s the most important and I’m not saying your posture your grip and Alignment don’t influence all of those variables but why are we looking at it through the lens of like man if you had Adam Scott’s posture grip and Alignment you’re going to hit it good I I don’t know that you you would you might hit it worse and so I think we need to be a little more flexible when we’re thinking about the fundamentals of golf

Consistency is the biggest factor in playing well. Look at someone like Bruce Litski, who never practiced, never warmed up, and played a minimal amount of tournaments, yet kept his card year after year after year. He knew his repeatable swing and took advantage of it.
