Jack Nicklaus Drains An Unbelievable 102 Foot Putt!

Harbor Shores—the site of the Senior PGA Championship. In a course opening exhibition with Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, Arnold Palmer and Johnny Miller, Jack showed Miller the proper way to play the unique tiered 10th green at Harbor Shores.

After Miller and playing partner Palmer had their putts roll back to their feet, Miller suggested chipping it. Jack then showed him the way. The result: a 102-foot putt by the Golden Bear.

  1. He was my dad's roommate at Ohio State University in Columbus Ohio. He came to our house in Boulder Colorado when I was probably about 10 years old and I got to meet him. I no idea who he was but he was a nice guy

  2. to me, one if not the best moment in golf.. That was the Jack I remember. He could see putts others couldn't. Great moments.

  3. Np matter how many times I see this clip I will never stop laughing at "Mr Golf" – Miller. Classic Nicklaus.

  4. There is another video where Jack talks about this putt and he admits that he did not even line it up, the reason he did it is because he did not want people using a pitching wedge making divots on that side so he just wanted to show you could putt the ball from there, the fact it went into the hole was great. Jack Nicklaus is the greatest of all time in golf.
