I like these videos but not for the same reasons as everyone else… It's because it's very easy to outscore the amateurs who try to swing like pros.
Yes Rory's swing is probably the nicest ever, and he creates an impressive amount of power from a fairly small figure, but it's not something your average person should imitate. His hip slide, weight transfer, knee push, and follow through would cause massive inconsistencies for 99.999% of amateurs. If Rory had the same swing speed that your average dad has, he wouldn't do any of the things I just mentioned to anywhere near the same extent. His lower body would be completely static, his right foot wouldn't tiptoe on the follow through, and he would bow his front elbow… And he'd still be driving the ball 270yds+
