The USGA is a nonprofit organization that celebrates, serves and advances the game of golf. Founded in 1894, we conduct many of golf’s premier professional and amateur championships, including the U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open. With The R&A, we govern the sport via a global set of playing, equipment, handicapping and amateur status rules. The USGA campus in Liberty Corner, New Jersey, is home to the Association’s Research and Test Center, where science and innovation are fueling a healthy and sustainable game for the future. The campus is also home to the USGA Golf Museum, where we honor the game by curating the world’s most comprehensive archive of golf artifacts. To learn more, visit https://www.usga.org.

  1. I thought Tom Brady had a rough exit last season….. double bogey to end and 15 over par? Missed the cut by double digit strokes?? Sorenstam should have paid fans to come watch her for that. Yeesh

  2. Would not be surprised if Michelle Wie makes a comeback in a few years time as she is still relatively young and will have not lost her long game distance. Just needs to learn how to putt in her maternal time off!

  3. It has been an honor and great joy to watch Michelle and Annika over the years play the game we all love so much! Thank you both for inspiring so many to play the game even a 24 handicap 81 year old grandmother like me!❤😂 👏🙏

  4. So 51 years after the men play the US Open at PB the USGA and the men that run golf finally let the women play there. Pathetic on part of the USGA and all of golf's leadership…actually they don't have any leaders in the golf industry. They are all a bunch of lemmings. Pathetic.

  5. From a boy to adults watching them play since I was 10 now they are playing theirs last tournament as professional golfer really got me in tears . They will be missed and no matter how many years pass by no one can make LPGA as excited as Annika , Lorena ,Michelle , Yani , Inbee's era new gens aino got same vibes as them . I m feeling old now love you all for such a remarkable memories .

  6. Michelle played horrible this week. A disappointing, +14 finish to mark the end of the prodigy who failed to fulfill her promise. Like a greek tragedy.

  7. Michelle Wie West should have had 50 wins on tour, but she had only five. Truthfully, the old guard of women who'd been on tour for years hated her. Her half-wit coach, David Ledbetter, mishandled her, and her parents blew her career out the kazoo by not forcing her to wait until she was 18 to play on the LPGA. Worse, some numbskull SI reporter caught her making a human error & blew it up to a monumental incident. Finally, she may have been influenced into not playing for the Stanford Cardinal by the gambling crowd because they may have threatened to expose her for all the money games she played against men as a teenager. Still, she was a sight to see in those orange panties and she never lost her determination. For me, her career was a tragedy, not a 50-victory triumph.

  8. Good riddance Michelle, you were supposed to be the female Tiger Woods but turned out to be a bum, 1 major and a handful of wins is pathetic for someone who was as hyped as you, now you are retiring at the age of 33 looking like a pro golfer whos 53 years old. TIGER THRIVED AS A PRODIGY YOU CRACKED UNDER PRESSURE LIKE HUMPTY DUMPTY. Go WIE WIE ALL THE WAY HOME. #tiger4life

  9. 在女子高爾夫的歷史上,魏聖美和索倫絲坦應該不是同一個級別的球員吧。

  10. Comparison of Michelle to Annika;
    One, an over hyped, over paid child prodigy
    with multiple injuries, exemptions, caddies,
    and failed attempts to play on the men's tour
    with only 5 LPGA wins and 1 major.

    Not even close to Annika's
    72 LPGA wins (90 worldwide) with 10 majors!!

    But she made a 'brilliant' 30 foot putt on the last hole
    to miss the cut at with a score of +14 instead of +15!
