The PGA TOUR heads to Detroit, Michigan, this week for the fifth installment of the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club. Last year’s champion Tony Finau returns to defend his record-setting title. Finau finished with a score of 26-under-par to break the tournament scoring record by three shots, posting just one bogey on the week. He’ll be accompanied by an in-form Rickie Fowler in the field. He’s finished inside the top-13 in his last four events, including a T5 finish at the U.S. Open, setting the U.S. Open single-round scoring record in round one. Justin Thomas will also be teeing it up this week in Detroit. He snapped back into form at the Travelers Championship after achieving his first top-10 since mid-March at the Valspar Championship. Only winner Keegan Bradley made more birdies at the Travelers, as he closed with a 64-62-67 in his final three rounds. Tom Kim will also like his chances this week after he finished T8 at the U.S. Open in Los Angeles. Turning 21 years old last week in Connecticut, he posted rounds of 64 and 65 to finish T38. The Korean debuted here last summer and matched the course record (63) on Sunday to finish solo seventh. Max Homa, Hideki Matsuyama, Collin Morikawa and Keegan Bradley will also be shooting for top spot in Detroit.

  1. I remember when Rickie first started to gain popularity on the tour he got some backlash for the fits he wore on the course. Certain people were judging him as being flashy and cocky b/c of his clothes lol Rickie has always been nothing but a class act and a good person. Whether he’s got his game or he’s struggling he has always stayed true to himself. Signing autographs for fans no matter if he won or was cut. Its why we all have love for him. Couldn’t be happier for the dude!

  2. Finally 😊 I felt his sigh of relief after he hit that last put. Congrats to Rickie it has been a long time coming.

  3. Every Single shot, the contact, the SOUND, So FLUSH, it’s Beautiful a treat for my ears!

  4. Always followed Ricky just something about the guy ,great player congratulations.

  5. "There's a lot more to life than winning" Family is and always be #1 in life priorities. What a great role model to live by.

  6. They gave him a run but he stepped up. Most clutch 68 ever with the playoff anyone can shoot 62 on day 1 this is more clutch.

  7. We've been waiting Ricky❤❤ massive slump that had everyone doubting what level he could play at. Monster shots on sunday to be in contention and world class playoff hole to win.. hats off

  8. You can tell what kind of guy Hadwin is as he’s in the background clapping for his competitor after the putt went in! Same goes for Rickie, cause like my grandpa used to say, “to get respect, you must be respectful” and while we’re here, “for every action there’s a reaction” “respect your elders” “never judge a book by its cover” the lines is which I’ve always lived my life! Cheers!
