Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as McIlroy, Woods, Nicklaus, and Player. The 2023 PGA Championship is set to take place between May 18–21 at Oak Hill Country Club. The reigning champion is Justin Thomas.

  2. He'll win 5 more, at least!!! He's doing what Jack was doing in his best days, always somewhere near the top at the majors, counting all those 2nd places too. If he can stay healthy and swing freely and putt like he can, he'll win 5 more for sure!

  18. Soooo…he has won 9 total tournaments, 5 being majors…and because of that I’m supposed to believe he’s one of the greatest ever?? Nahhhhh. That’s like a no name receiver that put up next to zero stats showing up and playing well on one game a year in the Super Bowl. Impressive? Sure. But would I put him down as one of the greats?? No way. Robert Horry (former nba player) has like 7 rings. Wasn’t a starter. Never put up big numbers, but he did come in and hit some shots during title runs. Is he greater than Jordan because he has more rings? Of course not. If he had those five majors with 30 wins…then I’d say he’s on his way to being one of the greatest ever. But. Like every other pga player now…he lacks consistency.

  19. Poor PGA Tour had to come to terms this weekend with the fact that the best golfer in the world is on the LIV Tour. He was the best in the world before his injury, and he’s clearly the best in the world again. If he wasn’t so rusty he’d have the first two majors of the year.

  36. Hang on a sec, I thought these LIV golfers were all washed up, had no motivation after their big pay day and couldn’t make it to 72 holes any more???
