Leave it to Dan to completely miss the point. He wasn’t comparing the reach of Golf to the NFL or saying player’s salaries should be the same. He was simply using the up front salaries athletes receive in other sports to debunk the ridiculous argument that being paid up front removes an athlete’s drive and makes them lazy. And he was pointing out the hypocrisy of that message coming from Tiger Woods, a guy who was set for life before he even tee’d up at his first PGA Tour event.
