Jordan Spieth sits in solo 2nd after Friday | Round 2 | Arnold Palmer | 2023



In the second round of the 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, Jordan Speith shot a 3-under 69 to get to 7-under after 36 holes. In solo second, Spieth trails by two shots going into the weekend.

This week, Bay Hill Club & Lodge will host 44 of the top 50 players in the world, including every winner on the PGA TOUR this season for the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard. With three TOUR wins already in 2023, including The Genesis Invitational in February, Jon Rahm will lead the field as World No. 1 once again. 2022 PGA TOUR Player of the Year Scottie Scheffler returns to defend his title, after last year saw him card an even-par final round in difficult conditions to hold off an inspired Tyrrell Hatton, finishing one shot clear of the field. A return to form has seen former World No. 1 Jason Day score three top-10 finishes in his last three outings. The Australian won at Bay Hill in 2016, and he will be hoping to repeat that feat and win his first TOUR event since 2018. With a star-studded field, including a host of former Arnold Palmer winners such as Rory McIlroy and Tyrrell Hatton, as well as a glut of players at the top of the FedExCup Standings, including Max Homa and Tom Kim, the 2023 Arnold Palmer is set to be a superb spectacle.

Don't worry I have every bit of confidence in him that he will not even finish in the top 10 by the time Sunday comes around he might get lucky make the cut this time but I think in his last 6 tournaments he didn't even do better than tied for 79th and then he missed the cut I don't know how many times only after the 2nd day. He's on a little bit of a streak but it won't last… Of course I haven't had time to check and see how many other great players are playing cause he usually does pretty good when the top 15 or 18 don't even show up for that tournament then most of the time you have a chance to play a little better hes still a loser.

  12. Gosh he clean up those misses in 10 feet watch out. I believe he making 5 on the last was so lucky.

  14. Speith is playing pretty solid this week . Just needs to hit more greens in regulation and keep the big errors in check. I like his short game this week been awesome . Speith just needs to clean up driving accuracy and Greens in regulation stats and he should win . My guess the winning score this week will be -13 or -15 under. Good chance for speith this weekend
