  2. What a great round. Very easily could have been a 67 round for him. A tough 10-12 stretch but he shook it off and finished strong.

  3. I like how he’s all like “gotta take it easy on my ankle. There are hills on this course” …..and then five seconds later he’s like “ yea gonna go squat 550 before the round tomorrow”

  5. I didn’t quite get what Tiger was implying regarding his driving distance compared to Thomas and Rory. I mean it’s not as if Tiger was just bunting it out there all day. According to the stats, Rory averaged 315.5 yards, was #28 in the field and his longest drive was 339 yards. Thomas averaged 295.3 yards, was #91 in the field and his longest drive was 319 yards. Tiger averaged 311.7 yards, was #37 in the field and his longest drive was 338 yards.

    So I don’t know maybe he was talking about carry distance? I mean back in the the day he could carry it that far and Rory other big hitters of today can too if they really go after it.

  7. Really appreciate his honesty about not playing in a while and what that's like for a professional. Its amazing how fine tuned these pros are to "their game" and the golf course and their surroundings.

  17. He was trying to hold back how happy he was on 18. I’m sure it feels so good to think you can compete and then come out with a decent round. Hopefully he was smiling also because his leg was feeling the best it has after 18 holes in a long time.

  19. Great to see him playing again. That really was a cool pairing to watch play together. The fact he was hitting a 180mph ball speed, yet says low flighted, just skipping them out there HAHAHA I think he can still bomb it 320 and just wants to show it not say it LOL

  32. I think rounds like this fromTiger are super underrated when you really think about it. This guy is 20 years older than the average tour player. He has gone through numerous major surgeries. Nearly lost his leg. Yet here he is after a full round of a designated/elevated PGA tournament and he is only 5 shots short of the leader. So for me this is actually adding to his legacy rather than taking from it.

Thank you tiger woods for all the great memories and because of you my young fella is 10yrs and loves the game of golf.
