  8. Sometimes I’ll be hitting balls on the range and I’ll hear a lesson taking place. The instructor will give all these convoluted, technical instructions. Figures that one of the best in the world (Phil) would explain it very simply.

"When your ball's between your feet you can't put your weight forward or you'll go over top of it" … I get that, but why isn't that also an argument for never shooting it off the back leg as Phil demonstrates so well? I just don't understand how he can choose such a range of ball placements from the front to the back, but says that the middle is basically not possible.

  30. This totally works . Tried this on the course and had fewer duff shots . I’m confused about one thing though . How is having the ball in the middle of your feet worse than having it by your back foot when hitting a low shot . Surely same rules apply that leading edge hits the ball first ?
    Also how about when there’s no grass…when ground is dry

  32. Golf lessons can be so funny sometimes. I was really struggling with my chipping yesterday so I decided to come on youtube to see what I could find. Right before I saw this clip with Phil, I watched some PGA coach on youtube saying to do the exact opposite Phil is saying what to do…lol.

  36. always confused by the hands forward part. Turns the 60 degree wedge into a 9/pitching wedge instead, whats the point?
