The PGA TOUR is set for a thrilling week at the WM Phoenix Open as a star-studded field is the focus at the most attended event of the year. Rory McIlroy is making his first PGA TOUR start since winning THE CJ CUP in South Carolina in October. McIlroy has, however, played five times on the DP World Tour since that win, recording five top-5 finishes, including a win at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. Eight of the world’s top-10 golfers are in the field, including world No. 2 Scottie Scheffler and world No. 3 Jon Rahm. Rahm currently leads in the FedExCup Standings and has won four of his last six starts combined on the PGA TOUR and DP World Tour. Meanwhile, Scheffler is looking to become the first golfer since Hideki Matsuyama (2016-17) to win back-to-back titles at TPC Scottsdale. Sam Ryder returns to TPC Scottsdale after making a hole-in-one on the famous 16th hole in 2022. Other names to look out for include Shane Lowry, Collin Morikawa and Patrick Cantlay, who returns after a playoff loss last season.

  1. How how how how how Taylor goes for the pin on the par 3 ???…….. After seeing sheffler duff his. I can't get my head around it.

  2. Big problem for the Tour though: most of their stars are extremely boring, super church Christians.

Going to be hard to market to the instagram generation who shelve drugs to get high.

  3. Great highlights video. Loved the length and even the crucial missed putts. Misses are as highlight worthy as good ones.

  4. Even if you hate LIV, you gotta thank them for putting the pressure on the PGA tour to make their highlight videos more than 2 mins. Great video PGA 😀

  5. Yea 15 or so years later abd by far the best highlight video to date. Good job pga u are finally doing good!

  6. Apparently you have to be in the last grouping to make the “highlight” reel? (Or Rickie Fowler with an ace 😂)

  7. The players are such incredible athletes. They can make shots from anywhere, their ability to shape the ball, change trajectories, and can spin the ball out of all kinds of conditions is amazing. And then they start rolling the rock in from all over the place. We saw a clinic out there from several players, taking advantage of what seemed ideal conditions and a course that seemed to fit their games. When these guys are on their games and really feeling it, they're a heck of a lot of fun to watch. Especially when there are multiple competitive duels going on within the groupings.

  8. I grew up around Nick and Adam at their home training facility in Canada. Both super guys, they literally have played and practiced together for years as friends. Those boys can play some serious golf. I shared the same coach as them and he once told me Nick went out to "practice something new" that evening on his home course. He casually shot -9 for nine holes lol. Most people don't realize just how good these guys are. Loved watching this, great video PGA, and so pumped for Canadian golf what a show.

  9. Can't stand scottie but only because he walked in front of cam smith when he was reading a putt..dont care if he was going to Liv.. Handle your self like a gentleman.. You got to thank them really know you stand more of chance 😂😂

  10. Congrats to Scheffler on winning another title. Taylor played well – got a bit unlucky with some lipouts but he really pushed Scheffler for the first 15 holes of the final round

  11. LIV in one year has already forced the PGA to make at least better highlights. Which is the point of LIV, to push golf forward.

  12. PGA Tour, whoever put this highlights clip together is who you want in future. Good editing creates tension, well done.

  13. Oii. This commentary is wrong. Sheffeler is not world number one, Rory Mcilroy is world number one. Unless the rankings changed and they haven't updated it on Google.
