The PGA TOUR is set for a thrilling week at the WM Phoenix Open as a star-studded field is the focus at the most attended event of the year. Rory McIlroy is making his first PGA TOUR start since winning THE CJ CUP in South Carolina in October. McIlroy has, however, played five times on the DP World Tour since that win, recording five top-5 finishes, including a win at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. Eight of the world’s top-10 golfers are in the field, including world No. 2 Scottie Scheffler and world No. 3 Jon Rahm. Rahm currently leads in the FedExCup Standings and has won four of his last six starts combined on the PGA TOUR and DP World Tour. Meanwhile, Scheffler is looking to become the first golfer since Hideki Matsuyama (2016-17) to win back-to-back titles at TPC Scottsdale. Sam Ryder returns to TPC Scottsdale after making a hole-in-one on the famous 16th hole in 2022. Other names to look out for include Shane Lowry, Collin Morikawa and Patrick Cantlay, who returns after a playoff loss last season.

Big Scheffler and Rahm fan (and Fowler and Day), but Speith shoots 8 under and no highlight reel of that to be found anywhere?!? And yes, these PGA tournaments mean something, as opposed to some other so-called tour, which are just exhibitions ( I think – I've never seen one).

P.G.A. all day, the highest level of golf on the planet, this place and the fan participation is insane, singing sweet caroline from the fans, never seen that at a pga event. The putting has been fantastic, if my boy Rory gets his going, lookout. I think Jon Rahm is the man to beat, I think Scottie and Rory are the only 2 who can pull it off, hey is that Rickey Fowler making a cut.

Great Video but Jordan Spieth had the lowest score in Round 2 and there is only one of his shots in this highlight video.
