Airbourne is an Australian hard rock band1 from Warrnambool. It was formed in 2003 by brothers Joel O’Keeffe (vocals and lead guitar) and Ryan O’Keeffe (drums), David Roads (backing vocals and rhythm guitar) and Justin Street (backing vocals and bass). In 2004, they released an EP entitled Ready to Rock.
In 2007, they released their first studio album, Runnin’ Wild. In 2010, they released their second studio album, No Guts. No Glory. In 2013, they released their third studio album, titled Black Dog Barking. Their first album was released on Capitol Records, with whom they signed a five-year contract. Capitol terminated the contract, but the band signed a new contract with EMI Records, and released their first album.
