Three weeks after Rory McIlroy’s remarkable win at the TOUR Championship, the PGA TOUR returns to action in Napa, California, for the 2022 Fortinet Championship. Last year’s winner, Max Homa, will defend his title at Silverado Resort & Spa after an impressive fifth place finish in the 2021-22 FedExCup Standings. In 2021, the Californian carded back-to-back 7-under rounds to finish one shot clear of Maverick McNealy in second place. 2021 Masters winner Hideki Matsuyama will be teeing it up this week after finishing T11 at the TOUR Championship, despite missing the FedEx St. Jude Championship two weeks prior with a neck injury. 2020 Fortinet champion Stewart Cink will be looking to repeat an impressive win that saw him finish 21-under par, breaking the tournament record. A number of Korn Ferry Tour graduates will be making their debuts this week, including Justin Suh, who topped the combined points list for the 2022 season. Other notable names to look out for include five-time TOUR winner Rickie Fowler and 2015 PGA Championship winner Jason Day.

  1. I'm a massive Rickie Fowler fan and really hope he starts playing some consistent golf and would love to see him in the Majors next year. Just to big of a talent to not be playing in the bigs ones.
Good bogey free round of 67. Would love to see Fowler in the last group Sunday.

  2. I know we all say it but I would love to see him come back and the fact he is still working on his game still on the PGA I respect that. I Really hope he doesn't go to LIV golf

  3. I wish Rickie would come back stronger and focus more on Golf. He's a great player. I want to see him up there with the best of the best. He definitely has the talent. But the focus and motivation is part of the key.

  4. Love to see it. Rickie has always had that supple quickness to produce fast swing speeds yet relaxed effort and attitude. It’s really quite pleasing to watch.

  5. Love the freedom of 3 minute highlights by the PGA tour. Thank you for growing the game of golf through your generosity.
